To find slope of two points connected by a line, you have to use the formula [tex] y_{1}-y_{2} [/tex] divided by [tex] x_{1}-x_2 [/tex]. Do six minus one or one minus six and find the absolute value (5). Now divide that by -4-(-5) or -5-(-4) and find the absolute value (1). 5/1. The slope is five.
