(−4+8x)+3>x/−4

Remove the parenthesis and simplify the left side:

8x - 1 > x /-4

Add x/4 to each side:

8x + x/4 -1 > 0

Simplify the left side by combining 8x and x/4 as a fraction with a common denominator:

33x/4  -1 > 0

Add 1 to both sides:

33x/4 > 1

Multiply both sides by 4:

33x > 4

Divide both sides by 33:

x > 4/33
