Step-by-step explanation:

Given points

( -3 , -7) and ( 5, 2)

Now slope (m)

= ( y2 - y1) / ( x2 - x1)

= ( 2 + 7) / ( 5+ 3)

= 9 / 8

Now the equation of line is

y - y1 = m ( x - x1)

y + 7 = 9/8 ( x + 3)

8 ( y + 7) = 9 ( x + 3)

8y + 56 = 9x + 27

9x - 8y +27 - 56= 0

9x - 8y -29 = 0

Which is the required equation
