Mr. Staley has $62 to buy binders for his mathematics class. How many binders can he buy at $3 each?

Divide the amount of money he has with how much each binder costs. 

62/3= 20.66 

Since you can't have 0.66 of a binder (and the money available is limited), you take 20 binders.
